The SimsWhat does everyone think of any of the sims games be it on PC, console or handheld. I have to admit that i was a late player to these games meaning i did'nt start playing the sims ontill it came out on PS2 and then that was it i was hooked lol.
I now have on the PS2 The Sims (original) The Sims Bustin Out, The Sims 2 and The Sims 2 Pets and on the PC i have The Sims (original) with all the expantion packs but due to my PC been under the min specs needed for The Sims 2 i have to make do with it on console at least for now. 
My partner also likes all the sims games and is hooked too although the only game she thourght was a little boring which happens to be my favourite is The Sims 2 Pets lol.

When i first played this game i liked it but it soon became boring and reapetative so i gave up and sold my copy for errrr, nascar i think it was.

You don't like it i didn't know this i thourght you liked it. 
Anyway i might make a diary or something, of course you would have to bare with me as it would be my first ever one so it might be a little slow or boring.

I love my Sims 2. It's much more fun than the origional version, since you get genetics, life stages, and cooler build features  The graphics are way better too, and the expansions offer much more gameplay. Jeez, I could go on forever about it.
Admin, you so need to get your pc specs up.

Yup i do don't i.
As soon as i have the time and money i will start buying the things i need which is mainly more ram and better graphics card oh and not that i need it but meh it will be worth updating too which is a bigger hard drive.
Might take a while but its cool because by then their might be a few more expansion packs out. 
I like the graphics they do look awesome and the expansion packs look more fun than the original + the fact that you can grow old and have children which in turn grow up is in a word perfect.

I think the sims is old and boring>Ofcorus there coming up with new sims ever year.Just I played it before,I liked it,and just gotr bored of it.

Yes the sims is old and compared to the latest sims games i can see why so many would say its boring and its not because the sims 2 is better but because no one likes to play out of date games but then who would say over 30 years later we would still be playing games like space invaders.
So in truth the sims could well become a clasic as it was what started all this game types off, look at the console versions, they are getting better each time but at the same time the fans aren't getting what they really want which is the ability to grow old and have children etc etc.
The console versions don't even let you build second floors yet the sims 2 on PC can now do what three floors which are, a basement, ground floor and second floor. So the question is why can't the makes of the sims (mexsis give the fans what they really want rather than giving them things that they think will make people stay faithful to the game and buy it.
In reality though the sims 2 pets for console took a huge drop in sales compared to the sims 2 which sold well but then many people returned there's for many reasons.
