Major Motoko and Batou are great characters. Well, apparently I'm weird because I like the sequel (Innocence) just as much when other people have said it wasn't that great. Worse, this isn't the only movie I've liked that others didn't. The artwork was different from the first, and the characters were drawn differently (but they were still recognizably the same characters), but otherwise I thought it was great. _________________ Tower of Light Fantasy Fantasy for the 21st century. Some people have replaced so much that the only thing human that remains are their "ghosts." Major Motoko is one of these. It's about an elite police squad called "Section 9" that investigates criminal activities concerning hackers who are able to take control of cyborgs to make them do their bidding.

There's Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. There's also a series subtitled "Stand Alone Complex."
